Today’s float fly was a success! The wind was gusting to 20mph and above, so flying was a bit of a challenge. We had a few more mishaps than usual this time out, there were a lot of waterlogged landings at the end of the day, but a good time was still had by all. Thanks to everybody who came to watch, those who flew, and special thanks to Matt Farmer for bringing his boat out to retrieve deadstick planes in the water. And most of all, thanks to the Norman Veteran’s Center for having us!
Photos from the event are here.
