We are having a Float Fly at the Norman Veterans Center located at 1776 East Robinson Street (see the Google map below) this Saturday the 30th starting at 1:00 PM. You won’t want to miss this one!
There will be plenty of cold drinks and delicious, char-broiled hot dogs for everyone thanks to a member and partner who happen to enjoy sharing their love of outdoor broiling with those able to attend that afternoon. So bring your plane and your taste for a hot dog or two!
The forecast for Saturday shows a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Otherwise, mostly sunny and hot with a high near 100. South wind between 5 and 8 mph.

Don’t forget to come on out to the field tonight around 6:00 PM and participate in some extraordinary after-hours aerobatics. Stick a LED flashlight or two on a plane and give this night flying a try or start a little earlier if you’d prefer to fly with a little more skylight. Should be a pleasant night as the forecast calls for mostly clear skies with a low around 80. Soft drinks will be on hand or you can bring your own snacks. Be sure to bring your family and friends to enjoy a relaxing evening watching all the action!
