I'm new to the world of flight and have wanted to get into helicopters. Now, I know they are a lot harder to fly than planes, but I just have a passion for them lol. I just ordered my new heli and it should be here Monday. I plan on practicing here at my house (way out in the country with lots of land) but it's just not fun to fly by yourself.

I was wondering if there are any heli pilots out there? I plan on joining AMA once I have a few more funds in my pocket, and I would like to join your group just so that I can fly with others. I have been out to your field quite a few times in the past, and loved every minute of it.

I want to thank you for your time.

I learned to fly at CORCS in '92. Until recently have not found a club as friendly as CORCS. I now fly at Paulding County Model Aviation in Dallas Ga. and have found the Senior Pattern Assn. and the fun has come back into RC. I still miss you guys. John Hancock (postal worker)

Don - Our club rules require valid AMA of course, and guests must be accompanied by a current club member. If you don't know anyone in the club that might seem like a problem, but if you come by the field you can ask a club member if they'll check you out and if you can fly as their guest. Don't be shy, we're a friendly bunch!

I live and fly in Ponca City. I am an AMA member (432659). My daughter and son-in-law live in the Norman area. On one of our visits, if time permits, could I bring a plane and guest-fly at your field?

Jarrett - Absolutely! Come out to the field and we will teach you how to fly. Wayne, the club president, maintains a club-owned trainer and buddy box system to teach people. Contact him at wshal@usa.net.

Hello, I am thinking about joining your club. I have a Kadet LT40 that I have built and am looking for someone to help teach me to fly it. I have a futaba radio with a buddy cord. Does this club provide that type of assistance?

Tom,

Click on the link at the top of the page "how to join" or follow the link in the post above that says "For more information on joining, please click here".

Either way will take you to the page (http://www.flycorcs.com/how-to-join/) with the PDF application (it is from 2006 but it'll work).
