July 8th Meeting - Important Vote Posted: June 26, 2009

CORCS Members,

We will be voting this coming meeting (July 8TH) for the acceptance of, or the rejection of a Runway Resurface contract. We have found a good company to handle this task, they have completed many full size aircraft fields/runways and I believe they understand fully what we are looking for in the completed job. The estimate we have is just under $2800.00. Please attend this meeting and be heard, hear answers to questions and concerns you might have. I’ll do my best to see you get your answer.

If you are unable to make this important meeting you can E-Mail me with your vote or questions. Your vote will be submitted at that meeting and counted and I’ll answer questions by E-mail or phone.

I would like to have as many members as possible be a part of the vote when such a large expenditure is being considered, so, if you can make it please attend.

Important Notice for Members - June Meeting

At the May meeting runway repairs were discussed. Jerry Church has called around to a couple of contractors about re-sealing the runway. The estimates ranged from $1500-1800 for 2 coats of sealer, with no work to repair the cracks. He is going to get some more updated estimates that include the labor to seal the cracks. This notice is to invite members to attend the June meeting, when the vote will be taken on whether or not to approve funds for this work.
