I wish to thank all members who participated in our “Fix Up” day at Jim Traw Field on Saturday. We got a lot accomplished.
I specifically wish to thank Robert and Casey O’Conner for their demo and removal work, repair work and Casey for his asphalt tamping work. Gerry and Kathy Weltzheimer for their repair and clean up work. Tom Wood for his repair work and weed killing. Wayne Shalamunec and Randy Stafford for their repair work. Gerry Church for his repair work and supervision. To David Paterson for his repair work and GOOOOD Gumbo. And the two Postal Employees from Illinois and Texas, who showed up to fly and proceeded to paint all the new wood. And last but not least, to Mr Jim Traw for his major supervision of all aspects of the day.
We were all glad to see our member Matt Farmer and his daughter out for the day.
